A keen runner and swimmer for most of his life, Rob found triathlon whilst at University in Leeds (2009-2012). In 2012 he was part of the Leeds performance team, which contained future Olympic medallists and World Champions. Rob has had success over elite and age group races, as well as several running races.

After growing up on the edge of the Peak District his favourite races involve plenty of hills. Rob has been coaching triathlon since 2013 and in 2017 he took the leap to coach professionally as a BTF performance coach at Loughborough University.

Meet Rob

I currently live in Loughborough and love running around the local countryside with my dog. My life revolves around triathlon coaching and supporting the next generation of world class triathletes. When I'm not coaching I love to go rock climbing in the UK and abroad or plan the next skyrunning race. I originally trained as a PE teacher but always coached triathlon in my spare time. My experience ranges from junior coaching to age group all the way up to world class. Whatever your level I feel I have the experience and range of knowledge to help you achieve your goals.
