From the data we collect during the Biomechanical Analysis, we can plan a bespoke package using Dynamic Movement Skills (DMS) this is a cutting-edge movement methodology that helps develop, refine & improve gross motor skills, coordination, agility & quickness. We have DMS systems to suit all ages and abilities.

Practise make perfect

6 sessions is shown to be the optimal time to learn the new movement pattern. We find a lot of time in these sessions is just making sure you are training the new run form correctly

Our studio is located at the Farm Club Sports Performance Centre in Pickmere near Knutsford in Cheshire, The Run Clinics offer a professional and quality service catering for all levels of runner from recreational up to elite and pro athlete level, from 5k through to Ultra Marathon events

Who are we?

Ian Talbot, Msc, Bsc (hons)

  • Ian has an MSc in Sports & Clinical Biomechanics from Liverpool John Moores University. He is a Certified Running Technique Specialist® & Certified Dynamic Movement Skills Coach® he uses The Running School method developed by Mike Antonaides to coach runners in optimising their technique. He has completed post-graduate certificates in running biomechanics from Salford University, the running school, London, and The Running Clinic, Canada. The Running Clinics was established to enable Ian to work with all levels of athletes from youth to elite


Single Session

1 hour


Each session is 1 hour with specific structure of assessment, drills, coached running and mobility. Your first session has to be a full biomechanical assessment at £90** in order to tailor the rest of your sessions

Double Session

2 hours


Starting with a full biomechanical assessment, straight in to the first part of your learning, this is our preferred booking type for those travelling from distance and can not make a weekly appointment. you can be supplied with sessions to be done at home to continue learning and send videos for critique for an additional cost

6 sessions development plan

1 hour each


This includes the first biomechanical assessment as well as 5 follow up sessions over a course of 6 weeks (to be arranged following initial booking date for session 1). Saves £80 over stand alone session pricing

Recently re-located to an idyllic setting on a lake side near Knutsford in Cheshire. Ideally located for easy access from the M56 and M6 motorways. Close to Chester, Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington with plenty of free parking on site.
