Meet Sally
Sally brings over a decade of professional coaching experience. Starting as a sailing coach, she spent many years on the water before moving into athlete development—helping the next generation of sailors earn their own coaching qualifications. More recently, she has expanded her expertise into education, building a coaching culture in schools to help both students and teachers achieve their goals. A true sports enthusiast, Sally has competed at national and world levels and enjoys watersports such as kitesurfing, sailing, and wingfoiling. Her involvement in Triathlon goes back nearly 20 years from when she was an active member of a club in the UK through to racing internationally and now being an active member of the community where she is based in Oman.
My Story
I discovered triathlon in 2007 after moving to a new area. Working from home and looking to meet people, I joined my local tri club, despite being a late starter in swimming. Learning front crawl from scratch, I eventually turned swimming into one of my strongest disciplines. When I moved to Oman in 2013, triathlon became a big part of my life again. It brought new friendships, incredible travel opportunities, and a renewed love for competition.
