Meet Veronika:
Sport taught me a lot in my personal life. I always look for a new challenges and I never tend to give up. I believe that you can get so much in return if you are prepared to put in the hard work and that is exactly the place where you can be honest with yourself.
I love the freedom that triathlon offers and how it allows us to be with ourselves, even though, many people manage to avoid that experience for so much of their time. I often think that many people push themselves to do their sport without truly enjoying what they do whereas I always feel a strong pull and desire to get out of the door and enjoy what I love doing no matter what else is going on in life. It makes me feel alive and always the best version of myself, it is this mentality and attitude that I try to build with my athletes so that they can challenge their inner strength and grow as they improve and enjoy the sport.
Coaching philosophy:
I have worked with many people over the years and one thing that I have learned is that almost everyone just wants to be better than yesterday so I stick to that. The most important thing though is that we enjoy what we are doing. Twice as much is not always twice as good and each person needs an individual approach whether that be to balance training with work and family of maybe female specific coaching which is an area have specialised in over the years.
